
Radish Parcel this is an awesome and healthy snack, for kids especially those who are fussy to have veggie, well had innovated with some twist as my kids are very fussy for veggie, I had some radish in the fridge and just planning for kids Tiffin box and when tiffin box plan it is really very difficult and confusion too, what to prepare and just thought of radish parcel it is so healthy and perfect treat for the kids and tried this terrific parcel they just came out delectable and the kids too love them, It’s perfect for a snack or any occasion.

Health Benefits: Radishes are very good for the liver and stomach, and it acts as a powerful detoxifier, Radishes are considered roughage, which means that it is composed of indigestible carbohydrates. Radishes are very filling, which mean that they satisfy your hunger without running up your calorie count.
For the Dough Ingredients :
All-Purpose Flour/Maida ½ cups
Whole Wheat Flour ½ cup
Dill Leaves 2 tbsp.
Rawa/Semolina 2 to 3 tbsp
Oil/Ghee
Radish extract water
Water as required
Salt as required
To make Dough:
Mix in all flour, dill leaves and salt, add the ghee and mix till you get a bread crumbs texture. Slowly add radish water (add water as required) and make a soft dough.
Knead well for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Cover and keep aside for at least half-hour.
Filling Ingredients :
Radish 200 gms (wash & grated, Leave chopped into small)
Lemon Juice 1 tbsp.
Garam masala 1 tbsp.
Turmeric 1 tsp.
Oil 3 tbs
salt
Maida/flour paste to seal the parcel :
Mix in 1 tbsp of flour with 2 to 3 tbsp of water to form a thick paste.
Wash and grate the radish squeeze and take the excess water and keep aside then chopped the leave into small and keep aside.
Take a wok add oil at medium heat add the radish and sauté for a while then add the leaves sauté for 2 mints, then add the turmeric and garam masala, lemon and sauté for 10 minutes close the flame, let it cool.
To Make Radish Parcel :
Make a small ball from the dough and roll out, cut into two rectangles. Fill in with the radish filling and fold.
Now apply maida paste on all four sides and place the other rectangle on top of the filling and gently press on all the sides to close tightly. I use a fork once done repeat the same with all the dough.
Heat oil for deep frying and once it is hot, reduce the heat to medium and gently drop in the radish parcel one at a time. It should rise slowly, after it rises (about 2 minutes), turn it over.
Cook for about 5 to 10 minutes till the other side gets a golden brown colour.
Turn and cook the other side for another 6 minutes or till its golden brown in colour. Remove it and allow it to completely cool down and store it in an airtight container.
Enjoy with a Cuppa Coffee.
