Hummus is an delectable and popular from Middle Eastern dip and spread, it is an smooth creamy divine thick mixture of chickpeas, tahini (ground sesame seeds), olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic, blend in food processor to form a creamy texture.
Well this is amazing and healthy, prefect for any season, this is one of our favourite dip, summer just started and had some mint so just thought of making some terrific combo & snacks with pita bread & garnish with some fresh purple cabbage for a crunchy & believe me it was aws. and can package for kids lunch box and kids holiday and new semester starting so dis is prefect & sure kids will not say “NO”.
Health Benefits :
Hummus is high in iron and vitamin C and also has significant amounts of folate and vitamin B6. The chickpeas are a good source of protein and dietary fiber, the tahini consists mostly of sesame seeds, which are an excellent source of the amino acid, the proteins in the chickpeas, prefect for kids & elder.
