Large mackerels – 8
Tsp. salt – 1
Tbsps vinegar – 6
Large onions – 2 (chopped fine)
Tomato – 1 (chopped fine)
Green chilly – 4 ( chopped fine)
Ginger- garlic paste – 1/2 tsp.
Tbsps. Chopped coriander leaves
Tsp. Spice powder – 3
Slice bread – 3 ( soaked in water)
Large egg – 1 (beaten)
Rava / breadcrumbs.
Clean mackerels, remove the heads and halve them.
Place the fish in a pan, add salt vinegar & 1/4 cup water.
Cover the pan ans cook on slow fire for 10 mints.
Cool. Heat 1 tbsp oil, fry onion till soft and toss in the 5 ingredients.
Remove the bones throughly from the fish, mash and mix in the onion,
Soaked bread (squeeze out the water) and beaten egg.
Check the taste, shape into cutlets, coat with rava and fry them.
Spice powder :-
100 gms. Cumminseed powder
100 gms turmeric pwd.
50 gms black pepper pwd.
3 level tsp clove pwd.
1 tsp cinnamon pwd.
1 level tsp. Red chilly pwd.
Pass the powder through a sieve and bottle (can be use for Fish / Meat).
