In the Middle East, the winter season is very difficult for elder and kids as well because the temperature sometimes is high and so I store the snacks to pack for the kid’s tiffin box. I also love to have dates raw coz here in the Middle East there are
250 grams. deseed dates
60 grams. pista (chopped)
½ tsp. wheat flour / white flour for dusting
2 tbsp ghee/clarified butter
1 tbs. dry coconut pwd. to roll the dates mixtures.
1. Take a pan and on low flame add 2 tbsp. ghee, add dates and toss for 5 mins.
2. Then put wheat flour on the surface and roll with a rolling pin like chapatti and one side put crush pista and roll it.
3. Take a plate and roll it in dry coconut powder, then roll in cling paper and keep in freeze for 10 minutes.
4. Cut it into small round pieces and store in an airtight container & Enjoy its very Yummicilio taste with Coconut and Pista.
Can also cook in microwave take a safe bowl to add dates and warm for 5 mins.
Can also add any dry nuts I used pista coz of colour combination and elegance.
