Peas Kurma

Ingredients : 

Hard boiled eggs – 2

Onion – 2 big,  finely chopped.

Tomato – 2 ( grind to a paste)

Green chilly – 2, split lengthwise

Cooked green peas -1/2 cup.

Coriander pwd 2-3 Tbsp.

Turmeric pwd. – 1/4 – 1/2 tbsp.

Coconut milk – 1 1/2 cup. (Medium Thick)

Thick coconut milk 1 / 2 cup.

Curry leaves.

Coriander leaves.

Salt & oil.

For Blend Masala :

Ginger & Garlic – 1 tbsp,  chopped

Whole pepper – 1 1/2 tsp.

Cinnamon – a small stick.

Cloves – 3.

Cardamon – 3

Method :

Grind / crush together above blend masala ingredients to smooth paste.

Heat oil in a pan add curry leaves sauté for second then add onions sauté till it is translucent, add the ground masala.  Cook till the raw smell of masala goes.

Add coriander pwd. & turmeric powder,  cook for a few minutes.  Add tomato paste & salt.

When oil start appearing, add the cooked green peas and stir well. Add the medium thick coconut milk. Let it cook for 5 more minutes.Add thick coconut milk and cook for around 5 more minutes.

Garnish with coriander leaves and egg.

It goes well with hot puri, chapati etc.

Note :

I used coconut oil for this recipe. If you want u can omit egg if u dont lke. Can add potato also in medium size cube add along with peas.
